Pricing
Generally speaking, Media Whisperer PR campaigns consists of three parts:
Part 1: The Interview/Information Gathering Process
Part 2: The Writing of the PR Pitch Email
Part 3: The Building of the Media List.
Depending on a client’s budget, we can spend hours, days, weeks, months, or even years cycling through these three PR campaign stages to try and generate media coverage.
Of course, none of our clients have infinite budgets. Moreover, every one of our client’s budget is unique. In some cases, our clients have especially small or large budgets. Consequently we’ve chosen to provide relatively fluid pricing:
We charge $200/hour to execute a PR Campaign, which covers the Interview/Information Gathering Process all the way to the PR Pitch Email Distribution Process.
We require that clients committ to a set number of hours prior to the start of the campaign, with a minimum of 10-hours of work ($2,000), as we have found that it’s impractical to execute a potentially successful campaign in less than that time.
Clients can order more than 10-hours of work in intervals of 2.5 hours. We recommend (but absolutely do not require) ordering at least 15 hours ($3,000) to let us flex our creative pitching muscles. (We are happy to hop on a call and explore what can, and can’t, be done, depending on your business’s backstory and how many hours you order).
If we end up not needing to work all the hours you ordered, we will refund you the overage after all the pitch emails have been distributed to journalists.
How Long Does It Take to Pitch Journalists and Get Media Coverage?
First of all, we cannot guarantee we will get you media coverage.
In regards to how long it takes to start sending out your pitch emails, it depends on how many clients we are currently pitching. From the time you retain us to the time we email the first pitch can be as fast as 2 days, and as long as 2+ weeks. Once we begin emailing pitches to journalists, the time between the first pitch being sent to the time the last pitch is sent can be as fast as a few weeks, and as long as 2+ months.
If, after we start sending out pitches, any journalists express interest in covering you, it will take the journalist additional time to get their editor’s approval to report on you, conduct interviews and research, and put their article/segment together. Sometimes clients begin getting media coverage a week after retaining us, sometimes months after retaining us, and sometimes not at all.
If you would like us to prioritize the creation and distribution of your campaign, there is a $500 fast-track fee.
